WELCOME

Discovering a need for skilled and honest speech language pathologists, Tonia Castellanos, MA, CCC-SLP, owner and lead therapist, established Pediatric Speech Therapy of South Florida, LLC in 2014. We are a private pay (no insurance) company providing virtual speech and language services to children 4-years through young adulthood in the state of Florida.

We specialize in articulation (speech sounds), fluency (stuttering), expressive language (vocabulary, writing, using words to convey meaning, thoughts, and ideas), receptive language (understanding what is being said or read), literacy (reading and writing), auditory processing, and pragmatic social language.

ABOUT TONIA

With over 10 years of experience treating pediatrics with speech, language, and related disorders, Tonia Castellanos continues to work with children from birth to early adulthood in the areas of articulation, fluency (stuttering), expressive language, receptive language, pragmatic (social) language, and literacy skills. Tonia is a graduate of the University of Central Florida. She started her career as a licensed and certified Speech and Language Pathologist, and soon became Supervisor of in-house and Assistant Director of school-based therapy programs throughout Broward and Dade County schools at a local therapy center. In more recent years, she began and grew her own private practice, Pediatric Speech Therapy of South Florida as lead therapist, while joining Broward County Public Schools.
